Everything is looking beautiful. The new sod has had its first mowing and looks great. Thanks to Bernard, KK and the crew for all they do to help maintain the island's grounds.
It has been exciting to hear about a church from Okeechobee that brought members out to tour the island. It is a blessing to hear that a group of men from the Top Gun course at Christ Fellowship in West Palm Beach intend to come on one Saturday to work with us on Prayer Island. And as you can see from the website, we now have our first video testimonies posted, with more to come. If you would like to share something either in print or video, just get in touch with me to arrange this and I will be happy to add it on to this site.
Today, mom goes in for surgery on her knee. Friday, dad goes for an epidural on his back. Many I know are facing physical needs and emotional needs. I encourage each of us to visit Prayer Island both in person as well as in our hearts, and meet with the Lord who takes on our burdens and walks with us through the tough times. Remember to thank Him, praise Him, and enjoy Him each day, and remember in prayer those that are in need. Thank you.
