After lunch with the men in the program, we all took a guided tour of the camp in a great van recently donated by Dan Jones. From the chow hall to the butcher shop, pallet shop, and print shop, we shared some of the history of the camp and some of the oldest buildings along the way.
For me, this was an emotional day. It marked the anniversary of my son Christopher's death. The love poured out from this group and later a wedding in Okeechobee of camp family, all were "gifts" in a very special way to me, and I want to thank you all from the bottom of my heart.
Love,
Dean
