I am so thankful for those that came, and for those that could not but were with us in spirit and prayer. You are invited to come back to the garden often but even when you can't, please cover it in prayer. Pray for those that step foot on to it, those with burdens too heavy to bear. Pray that God would change a stony heart into one that is like fertile soil, ready to receive the seed of his word and life, one that is ready to grow into the freedom and fragrance that God has purposed for their lives in Christ Jesus. Pray that the enemy is held away. I am sure we made him a bit upset on Sunday as evidenced by the storm, but, God is ALWAYS greater, and He has won the victory. In the future, we may perhaps see a brick victory path around the island, recognizing in stone, the miracles God has done at this place. But for now, let us enjoy the island, the nature and the areas set aside for meditation, and to come into His presence, the Master Gardener of our lives.
On behalf of the entire Evans family, thank you all again for your love, compassion, support, and strong friendship to us. That is a treasure that cannot be measured and cannot be matched. You are very loved as well.
Dean.
